You name the date and time and I’ll come to you! Book a private session in Western Sydney, the Hills area and Sydney Metro. I supply the paint, brushes and instructions to get you in the spirit, and you get to relax with friends, and exercise your creativity in between snacks and sips.

I bring the materials to your chosen venue and provide a laid-back, colourful and creative experience with plenty of laughs!

Choose a free-flow session with plenty of autonomy and opportunity to experiment, or a longer, in-depth creative lesson where party guests work on a specific project or painting (don’t worry – I’ll make sure to provide plenty of time for chatting and eating!).

You just need to organise seating space and I’ll bring the rest! Let me know if you’re after a picnic or table set-up and I’ll bring paper, paints, step-by-step instructions and easels if needed. Choose brush calligraphy, creative lettering, craft, or watercolour painting sessions to suit your celebration, theme, or colour scheme.
up to 20 GUESTS
A minimum booking/callout fee applies and covers the first 5 guests of your party. The maximum number of guests will depend on the type of creative lesson you’d like me to organise, and the seating space available in your venue. For parties with lots of guests, you can book multiple short sessions over several hours.

The Brushlettering Creative Retreat by Joy Adan given to the OLA Mothers Group was soul enriching, mind and body refreshing get together of busy mums who deserve to have a break from our day-to-day routine. It was fun learning the skills in brush lettering using watercolours and we get to write and design our favourite quotes for our own motivation. Meet your teacher
Hi, I’m Joy! I’ve been creating, lettering and writing for over 6 years and absolutely LOVE teaching and encouraging others to do the same! I created Finding Joy as a channel to share my creative projects and to remind myself (and others!) it is always worth making time to find, express and celebrate the joys in life – even life’s simplest or messiest of moments can carry the sacred and profound.
These creative events are one of my favourite ways to give others the opportunity to gift or make something unique and beautiful for themselves or someone they want to celebrate, to honour the words, colours, images and stories that uplift and empower us, and to revisit the joy and freedom that our creativity unleashes in us.
