It’s official – we have nearly made it to the end of the pregnancy journey!
As I am writing this post I am sitting at 4 days overdue (please come soon little one!) & feeling all types of emotions – nostalgia, love & excitement to step into this crazy new chapter of our lives.
There are a few things that I LOVE to do that keep me feeling motivated & productive throughout my weeks – meal planning, food prep & filling out my planner.
The meal planning has definitely been something that has helped in our household as of late so that if I have not been up to cooking dinner – hubby knows whats on the menu!
Food prep has been non-existent as I just don’t have the energy (although I have prepped some meals & frozen them for our first couple of weeks with bub)
But filling out my planner is still going strong! (cue victory dance)
Especially since my wonderful husband bought me a brand new one that I’ve had my eye on for awhile for Mothers Day this year.
How do you fill out your planner when you could have a baby at any given moment?
I’ll tell you how – like normal! Why? Because I have learnt very quickly in these last few days of being over due that you just need to keep on trucking along with normality (but a lot more naps) to keep you sane.
It’s like if I put something in my planner to do the next day or organise to catch up with a girlfriend for coffee at the beach, you have something to look forward to – so when you wake up in the morning having assumed your water has broken & you should be up at the hospital having a baby in no time – and nothing’s changed, you can remain calm & patient knowing you have your day planned out!
And then whenever your beautiful baby decides to arrive – she/he is a welcomed change to that plan 🙂
Let’s hope this attitude sticks around if baby martin decides to hang tight for a few more days!
So here’s a little look into my planning!
I love everything to do with stationery/stickers/planner decor etc so don’t judge me, we all have our weaknesses….
Hope you enjoyed lovely people!
If I am a bit MIA shortly – you’ll know my patience paid off & I’m having bubby 🙂
Big Love X.
