A Good Friday Out

March 25, 2016

Good Friday..

For me, it’s a precious time to reflect & be thankful for what God gave for us all, this amazing life & to spend time with my loved ones.

Today marks the first proper day my wonderful husband has had off work in awhile & what do I do?
“Can you help me with a blog post today bub?” Oops! Lucky he is crazy talented & loves photography.

With the sun streaming through the windows, a fresh coffee with breaky & deep chats about life, this morning was a dream at home with hubby. Followed by a lunch date out & a stroll around in the beautiful weather it got me feeling extremely thankful.

This got me thinking, how often do we start our day with thankfulness?
How often do we strive for a good day but start it with the wrong or warped perspective?
What are the things in your life today that you can be thankful for, let’s write them down, meditate on them & let them lead us into the day.

What shall we wear?

If you read my last blog post you would know that I love to dress up when I get the opportunity to, so a day off with the husband was definitely a go for me!

I’ve been finding it hard to find outfits I feel comfortable in & make me feel good now that baby is beginning to really grow us outwards!
But two words have come to my rescue….. ‘Bandeau Dresses’ !
They are so comfy, stretch with the times & can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.

So today I decided to pair it with some basic wedges & a girly overtop to soften the look.

These shoes are Miss Shop & go with absolutely everything being the perfect shade of nude.
I have just seen that they are currently on sale! So have linked them here for your perusal.

My dress is from Bardot (couldn’t find on their site for you, sorry) & I believe are also sold at Supré.
I’ve linked a similar one for you here.

And the beautiful lace top is from ICE, it was a gift from a friend, here I’ve linked you a similar one.
